What I can tell you is that the BioHarness 3 was supposed to be on the market by now according to conversations I had with Zephyr months ago with a price point set to be somewhere near $200. Zephyr is a healthy company with a very active R&D department.

As soon as I get word on the product's status, it will be posted here.

Re: Zephyr’s HxM Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor -Review

Hi Dino,

I will call my Zephyr contact tomorrow (Monday Sept 5) and will update here accordingly.

I'm currently following with this app:
http://market.android.com/deta...

But no app I know of tracks rider's vital stats this year.

Too bad, considering Garmin's stake in ANT+ that they're not doing this. At
least not on Android.

I hope it'll be possible to follow the Tour from my
Droid this year, and it'll be even better if in real time, but I'm not
holding my breath for delivery through MyTracks.

Re: Bluetooth and ANT+ Sensor Tech for Mobile Phones Today

It's looking up a bit:
current android phones with ANT+ http://www.thisisant.com/pages...
current android apps with ANT+ ...
- in market https://market.android.com/sea...
- from wahoo's site http://www.wahoofitness.com/Ap...
+ adidas micoach app also??

If I skimmed your article correctly, one of the key differences is that the current bluetooth apps are hardware-model specific, whereas ANT+ is much more flexible. So if I use any ANT+ app on my phone to measure my heart rate, and my heart rate monitor dies, I could pick up any new ANT+ heart monitor without having to verify compatibility with the app developer. If that's the case, I'd much rather see ANT+ take off.
Re: Bluetooth and ANT+ Sensor Tech for Mobile Phones Today

Apparently the Sony Erickson Android phones (X8, X10) do. Also the endomondo app (available in the market) supports ANT+, if you've got the ANT+ phone anyhow...

Re: CardioTrainer Pro

is there a way to export all my running workouts in a gpx file?
hardware specs. So, no BT to ANT+ converters would be necessary. Perhaps
firmware tweaks, but no hardware converters.

A Google dev working on My
Tracks said once that one existed, but in an entire year of asking about it,
he won't give a solid answer.

If an ANT+ to BT device exists, tell us where to find one.

They are similar but competing protocols. So, if such converters exist,
they're likely for development use only.
